This was the First RCAF Fighter Squadron formed in Canada
called the City of Toronto Squadron. It was formed within the
10th-110th Regiment and based at Trethewey Field.

It was the first Squadron dispached Overseas in WWII
where it was renamed the 400th Squadron.

One of the Pilots in the 10-110 Squadron was Frank Lince Trethewey, a former RNAS Officer and Chairman of de Havilland, Canada
